Cruising grounds
Porto Cervo is the harbour at the heart of the Costa Smeralda in Gallura. It is the natural base for days along the coast and for evenings ashore.
Off Palau and Santa Teresa Gallura, the La Maddalena National Park includes Spargi, with Cala Corsara, Budelli and Caprera. The park runs an official authorisation and tariff platform for vessels visiting its waters.
Near San Teodoro, the Tavolara – Capo Coda Cavallo marine protected area surrounds the island of Tavolara. It is a quieter alternative to the busiest Costa Smeralda anchorages.
Across the Strait of Bonifacio from Santa Teresa Gallura, Corsica's southern tip is within reach on a multi-day charter, weather permitting.
Plan with confidence
Navigating and mooring in La Maddalena National Park requires the appropriate authorisation, issued through the park's official platform. Requirements depend on the vessel and the visit, and are arranged before the charter.
The Mistral can bring strong north-westerly winds to northern Sardinia and the Strait of Bonifacio. Captains keep sheltered alternatives in the plan.
Some yachts are listed in Sardinia; others reposition from Sicily or the French Riviera. Any positioning cost is confirmed in your quote.
Our French Riviera office is the closest Bluebnc base to Sardinia & Corsica. Share your dates, guest numbers and preferred embarkation port, and a charter adviser will check current yacht availability and send a written proposal.

Rates depend on the yacht, date, duration and positioning, so there is no single price. Where a yacht shows a from-rate, it is indicative; your advisor confirms the final quote and inclusions in writing.
Yes. The park operates an official authorisation and tariff platform for vessels navigating and mooring in its waters. Requirements depend on the vessel and the type of visit, and the correct authorisation is arranged before the charter.
Each yacht page shows its listed base. In our current collection these include Porto Cervo and Portisco, and some yachts reposition from Sicily, Cannes or Monaco. Your advisor confirms the embarkation port.
Yes, on a multi-day charter. Bonifacio, on Corsica's southern tip, lies across the Strait of Bonifacio from Santa Teresa Gallura, so a week from the Costa Smeralda can combine La Maddalena with southern Corsica, weather permitting.
The main season runs from May to October. July and August are the busiest months on the Costa Smeralda, while June and September usually mean quieter anchorages. The Mistral can bring strong winds, so captains plan sheltered alternatives.
Regulations and local information checked against official sources on 2 October 2026. Rules change; your captain confirms current requirements before departure.
