Wonderful The Bahamas

Yacht Charter Bahamas

The Bahamas are a beautiful archipelago of more than 700 palm-fringed tropical islands and over 2,400 cays. Discover many of the most significant islands with this 7-day itinerary.

Nassau and Paradise Island
Nassau and Paradise Island

Meet your yacht on Paradise Island at Atlantis Marina. With an aquarium, water park, and restaurants, you'll be spoilt for choice here from day one. After finding your yacht, set course for Allan's Cay and Highbourne Cay in the Exumas. The private island of Highbourne Cay is known as the gateway to the Exumas. Choose from eight beautiful beaches just steps from the marina to relax and enjoy the views. Stop at Allan's Cay to feed the iguanas that will eat out of your hand. As the sun sets on your first day in the Bahamas, enjoy dinner prepared by your personal chef under a starry sky.

Norman's Cay

Sailing east, you'll come to Norman's Cay, a beautiful little island with a lot of history. Experience the debauchery of the drug smuggling days and then explore the remains of houses, clubs, and guard shacks on your own. Your crew can offer you diving instruction or hire a dive master for a shallow practice dive. At lunchtime, you can then go diving around the sunken plane of one of the failed smuggling missions. In the late afternoon, head to Lon Palm Island for skiing and wakeboarding before taking a relaxing sunset boat ride to Shroud Cay.

Wake up to a morning walk on a secluded beach. On this uninhabited island, shallow mangrove forests create a unique environment where you can find shellfish, lobsters, and turtles. If you're feeling energetic, take a hike along one of the coastal trails. In the afternoon, your luxury yacht heads for the Warderwick Wells Land and Sea Park. Take a dinghy for this short trip and ski behind it to follow the yacht. Take a guide and hike the trails to Boo Boo Hill and the impressive blowholes on the east coast. Observe the lush marine life and check out the stromatolites with a shallow snorkel. In the evening, take a boat trip to the private Bell Island as the setting sun lies behind you.

After a morning dive, head to the Big Majors spot, located in the middle of the Exumas. As you dock on the beautiful white beach, you are greeted by the amazing sight of pigs swimming towards your boat. Although it is not known how they got there, the pigs have become a real attraction, especially big Emily. Visit the cave where the James Bond film "Thunderball" was filmed. Head ashore for happy hour in the evening, where the Staniel Cay Yacht Club is a must-visit. Dine at the elegant Harbour Club Eating and Drinking House on Fowl Cay.

Over Yonder Cay

Today you can relax on the luxurious private island of Over Yonder Cay. The facilities here are the best in the Bahamas, so make the most of the boats and activities. The island was born out of a unique decadence and environmental consciousness, as the owner is committed to using renewable energy. Treat yourself to a massage or treatment at the spa, or take in the nearby small cays. The color changes of the water depending on the depth are truly amazing.

With so much to do and many small islands to explore, spend a second day on Over Yonder Cay. Start with a snorkel in one of the shallow pools, which turns into an adventure when the tide comes in. Continue the previous day's activities and ride on one of the Seabob underwater scooters. Back on the surface, ride the jet skis to a secret sandbar where you can eat strawberries and sip champagne while the turquoise waters surround you. In the evening, your yacht begins the journey north to Paradise Island.

On your final day, disembark from your yacht and head to Atlantis, a beautiful resort that rises above the white beaches of Paradise Island. Play in the water park, visit the dolphins, or play a few rounds of golf before heading to the airport for your flight home. Don't forget to bring some Bahamas rum to relive the evenings spent watching the sunset from the white sandy beaches...
