Palma and the bay
The Port of Palma sits beside the Old Town and its cathedral, and most Bay of Palma days start within sight of it. Calm mornings suit swimming stops along the bay's sheltered edges before lunch at anchor.

Balearic Islands · Spain
Crewed motor yachts, sailing yachts and catamarans for day and multi-day charters around Mallorca, planned by a charter team based in Palma.
Mallorca rewards time on the water. Its north-west coast is backed by the Serra de Tramuntana, a UNESCO World Heritage cultural landscape of terraced slopes and dry-stone villages; the south and east open into sheltered calas; and the Cabrera archipelago lies about ten kilometres off the island's southern tip.
The yachts below are listed for Mallorca charters in our current collection, each with its listed base marina. The right departure point depends on the yacht, the forecast and your route, so an advisor confirms positioning, inclusions and the final quote before anything is booked.

Cruising grounds
The Port of Palma sits beside the Old Town and its cathedral, and most Bay of Palma days start within sight of it. Calm mornings suit swimming stops along the bay's sheltered edges before lunch at anchor.
Sa Dragonera, a natural park since 1995, lies about 700 metres off Mallorca, separated from Sant Elm by the Es Freu channel. The waters between Sa Dragonera and Sant Elm are a regulated buoy field, so yachts moor to buoys rather than anchoring.
The Cabrera archipelago — 19 islets south of Cap de ses Salines — is a maritime-terrestrial national park. Visiting by yacht requires a navigation permit, and an overnight stay requires a separate permit for the park's mooring buoys.
Along the Serra de Tramuntana the coast rises steeply from the sea, and Port de Sóller is the main harbour on this stretch. It is the most exposed side of the island, so captains choose Tramuntana days by the forecast.
Plan with confidence
Under Balearic Decree 25/2018, uncontrolled anchoring is prohibited and anchoring on Posidonia oceanica seagrass is not allowed as a general rule. Captains use sandy patches and authorised buoy fields, which occasionally decides which cove you stop in.
Each yacht card shows its listed base. A yacht based elsewhere on the island can often start from another marina; any repositioning is confirmed and priced in your quote.
Charter fee, fuel, food and drinks, marina fees and crew gratuity are handled differently by each yacht and charter type. Your advisor sets out exactly what is included before you confirm.
Our Palma de Mallorca office is the closest Bluebnc base to Mallorca. Share your dates, guest numbers and preferred embarkation port, and a charter adviser will check current yacht availability and send a written proposal.

Questions guests ask
Short, sourced answers. Rates, availability and inclusions are always confirmed in writing by your advisor.
Rates depend on the yacht, date, duration and route, so there is no single price. Where a yacht shows a from-rate, it comes from the current charter collection and is indicative; your advisor confirms the final quote and its inclusions in writing before you book.
Each yacht page shows its listed base. Many yachts are listed in Palma's marinas or on the south-west coast, such as Puerto Portals and Port Adriano, and others at ports including Port de Sóller. Your advisor confirms the meeting point for your date.
No. Balearic Decree 25/2018 prohibits uncontrolled anchoring and, as a general rule, anchoring on Posidonia oceanica seagrass. In regulated buoy fields, such as between Sa Dragonera and Sant Elm, yachts must use the authorised buoys.
Yes. The Balearic Government issues a navigation permit for the park, valid for 12 months, and a separate permit to use the mooring buoys for an overnight stay. Both are requested in advance through the official booking portal.
A full day, typically eight hours, suits one stretch of coast — the Bay of Palma or the south-west towards Sa Dragonera, for example. A multi-day charter adds overnight anchorages and lets the captain choose the sheltered side of the island as the wind changes.
Regulations and local information checked against official sources on 2 October 2026. Rules change; your captain confirms current requirements before departure.
Tell us your dates, group size and the kind of days you want on the water. An advisor will shortlist suitable yachts and confirm the quote in writing.
